We are currently in the process of designing a new logo for Stòras Uibhist. We would like a logo that covers all three companies, Stòras Uibhist Ltd, Sealladh na Beinne Mòire and South Uist Estates. We would like the logo to be representative of the Estate and its activities where practical.

Sealladh na Beinne Mòire AGM
The Sealladh na Beinne Mòire AGM took place at Stoneybridge Hall on Tuesday 23rd June.
Immediately following the AGM a short Board meeting was held to appoint a Chairman and vice-Chair, and consider the co-option of Directors to subsidiary companies.
Angus MacMillan was elected Chairman, and Sarah MacEachen as vice-Chair, of SnBM.

Draft 2014 AGM
The 2015 election process for two Directors of Stòras Uibhist is now complete.
Three candidates stood for election: Kate MacDonald, Angus MacMillan and Neil Campbell.
A turnout of 50.8% of Members voted in the postal ballot organised by Electoral Reform Services.
Angus MacMillan was elected with 271 votes and Kate MacDonald was re-elected with 256 votes. Their term runs from June 23rd at the close of the 2015 AGM

There are two vacancies on the Board this year as Kate MacDonald and Neil Campbell were required to stand down as part of the rolling process that ensures all the Directors stand down over a period of three year
The long-awaited repair work to the damaged drainage outlet at Smerclate commenced this week. The outlet channel was progressively weakened over the years and completely ruined in the 2005 storm. Local contractor, MacInnes Bros Ltd are carrying out the repairs and work is expected to be complete in the next few months.
